The trailer showcases the triangle between Alia, Varun and Aditya. Kalank is a tale of love between Roop and Zafar and is set in the 1940’s pre-partition time. The film also stars Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. Meanwhile, Aditya will be seen Abhishek Varman’s Kalank as Dev. It was amazing how Bradley Cooper acted, sang in it and directed a new actor (Gaga). In an interview with Bombay Times, Aditya said, “A lot of people messaged me saying how the Hollywood film was inspired by Aashiqui 2 (smiles) and how a lot of scenes were similar. The Kalank star also appreciated Bradley’s acting in the film and also the fact that he sang and directed Lady Gaga also. Aditya also mentioned that he loved the film and was a huge fan of Bradley Cooper. Aditya stated that he found that observation very funny. In a recent interview, Aditya was asked about it felt to him when people approached him and told that A Star is Born seemed to be inspired by his film Aashiqui 2. For the folks who have seen the film, some scenes between Bradley and Lady Gaga have a similar look as the ones between Shraddha and Aditya. Speaking of this, many people believed that Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s film A Star is Born took some inspiration from Aditya Roy Kapur and Shraddha Kapoor’s film Aashiqui 2. However, in a rare scenario, some Hollywood films also take some inspiration from Bollywood movies. Many times, Bollywood films take inspiration from Hollywood films and end up doing great business at the box office.
